Shanghai Team Made Outstanding Achievements at the 20th Exporecerca Jove

Shanghai Science Association for Young Talents (SSAYT) selected three senior members of the association to participate in the youth scientific research project fair in Barcelona on February 28th to March 2nd 2019 at the invitation of Magma, the host of Exporecerca Jove 2019, for the enhancement of scientific and cultural exchanges between the students of Shanghai and Europe. Students at the fair presented their projects for evaluation of excellence to the jury formed by university experts, high school educators and business experts from different field of knowledge. At the end, Zihao Wang won the first prize, and Xuanhua Lai and Zhangya Lin won the engagement prizes.

About Exporecerca Jove

Exporecerca Jove is a fair held since 2000, where youths aged above 12 could present their scientific projects. It is held for the aim to promote the scientific research of youths and boost scientific exchanges between teenagers in Spain and abroad. About 300 students could get into the final evaluation every year, which not only include the Spanish students, but also teenagers from France, Russia, Brazil, Belgium, Greece, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Slovakia, Kazakhstan and Prague etc.

The fair this year happened to be held during the Mobile World Conference 2019 in Barcelona. As a branch event of the conference, Exporecerca Jove invited popular science educators around the world to give a wonderful scientific feast in the form of various activities to players and local youths. The three-day event attracted thousands of local youths and people to visit.
